Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 1, 2026
wrkshft ("we", "the app") is a desktop application and web platform for music-production collaboration. This policy explains what data is processed when you connect a third-party cloud storage account (such as Google Drive or Dropbox) to the app.
Data we access
- Account identity: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture via Google Sign-In, solely to display which account is connected inside the app.
- Cloud storage files: With your explicit permission, the app accesses
only the files and folders it creates itself in your Google Drive
(scope:
drive.file) or Dropbox. We cannot see, read, or modify any of your other files.
How your data is used
- Your projects are synced between your devices and your collaborators through your own cloud storage account. Files never pass through a wrkshft-operated server.
- OAuth tokens are stored locally on your device (macOS Keychain) and are never transmitted anywhere except directly to the respective provider (Google, Dropbox).
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.
Data storage & deletion
All content remains in your own cloud storage — deleting it there removes it entirely. You can revoke the app's access at any time in your Google account permissions or Dropbox settings, and disconnect inside the app's Settings.
